VERSETZT

“Versetzt” (German for displaced or shifted) is a sculptural ceramic collection that explores the act of removal, relocation, and transformation. Crafted from raw black clay, each piece holds the tension between presence and absence—where voids are just as intentional as the forms that remain.

Through precise cutouts, fractures, and separations, these objects embody the idea that what is taken away is not lost but repositioned, redefined, and reborn.

Each piece, made entirely by hand, tells a story of something once whole, now rearranged into a new composition.

In Versetzt, displacement is not an end but a process—one that uncovers the unseen and reshapes the familiar
